YOUNGOR REINTERPRETATION OF T-SHIRTS

Sep 30, 2022

On the 24th of September, Youngor's show of innovative concept shirts, "Real in a new way", were staged in the classical house of Juno House, at No.1 Hengshan Road, Shanghai. It was also the debut of Youngor at Shanghai Fashion Week and many professionals from the fashion, cultural and business industries attended the event.

BETWEEN RESEARCH and the Youngor Group have a strong partnership that started more than ten years ago. In 2008, in fact, BETWEEN helped the Group to take a crucial step in the internationalisation of its brand by setting up an overseas branch (in Italy). Since then, BETWEEN has continued its multi-dimensional cooperation with the Group's various divisions and continued to bring more international human resources into its team.

The "INNOVATION 100" innovative fashion platform created by Youngor together with this event accounted for a major breakthrough in the Group’s growing process, as it helped the platform to gather more than 100 designers from China, Italy, the UK, Austria, Japan, Korea and other countries around the World.  After several selections, the platform finally presented 30 talented designers from 8 countries with 56 exquisite shirt designs. The collection broke the stereotype of Youngor's traditional business shirts and reinterpreted a new image of the brand that is younger, more fashionable and more diversified.

The platform not only showcases a very diverse range of designers from all over the world, but also invites renowned creative directors, pioneers of sustainable fashion brands and rising stars in the European fashion industry to participate in it, and jointly also helped Youngor's "INNOVATION 100" fashion platform to add more different colours.

Arthur Arbesser, whose brand carries his name and was the creative director of Fay, Iceberg, part of Tod’s Group;
Jsen Wintle, an internationally renowned creative director and menswear designer born in the famous Savile Row in the UK, who joined Paris and London fashion weeks many times;
Fabrizio Alfredo, a shirtmaker who has an independent shirt studio and is committed to exploring the extremes of shirts;
the Italian senior designer Alessandro Biasi, who is good at showing his unique design style through dramatic bright colours and patterns;
Sheetal Shah, who released her personal sustainable clothing brand debut at Milan Fashion Week last year, and is the hottest rising star in European fashion;
Marcello Pipitone, who was named one of the "2019 Vogue Talent", a sustainable designer who is good at splicing and matching multiple materials and has a highly recognisable style;
and Shen Jiaqi, a young local Chinese designer who graduated from a well-known European design school and was hired by the German headquarters of HugoBoss, etc.

On the day of the event, the dress code of all guests catered to the theme of Innovation 100. We were happy to meet after a long time with old friends from the fashion industry, all of us wearing a shirt to watch the show together. We marvelled at the vibrant, innovative and fresh new Youngor concept shirt series, and we also saw a new interpretation of the future "Youngor shirt ". The show was a great success.
