PITTIWAY | Betweeners in Pitti Uomo 103
The 103rd edition of Pitti Uomo was held at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence from the10th to the-13th of January 2023. In addition to the main sections for men's fashion - Fantastic Classic, Futuro Maschile, Dynamic Attitude, Superstyling and the special project S|Style - the fair also featured the I GO OUT section, dedicated to outdoor clothing. The show also featured two new area for discussing design and pet products. A total of 789 brands were represented, 40% of which were international brands from outside Italy.
PITTIWAY is the theme of this year's Pitti Uomo, and illustrates the current mentality and vision: it is not easy to restart, to choose the best direction and positioning and then to make decisions. “PITTIWAY underlines the many possible choices we must consider in order to exit from the complicated global gridlock”, says Agostino Poletto, general director of Pitti Immagine. " In this difficult, yet creative, innovative and diverse time Pitti will be the compass to set a new direction, to find the right path and to make a relaunch."
Angelo Figus, Creative Director of Pitti Immagine, says: "Coming up with this theme reflects the extraordinary period we are in at the moment, and so is the fashion industry."
Following in the footsteps of Ms. Angelica De Vito, CEO of Between Research, and Ms. Ding Chen, Asia Pacific Director, let's go inside this year's PITTI UOMO, where we have discovered a few very interesting brands to share with you.
